Account and progress

When you sign in, this site uses your provider’s account identifier and email to recognize your study profile. It saves review answers, recall ratings, review schedules, daily activity, study-time preferences, and timed results. It does not receive your Google or ChatGPT password. Your private records are available only through your authenticated account.

Public leaderboard

Participation is optional and off by default. If you join, your chosen display name, practice points, and number of study days appear publicly. Your email and individual answers do not. Turn off “Join the public leaderboard” in Account to remove your profile from the board.

Cookies and preferences

Google sign-in uses essential secure session cookies, lasting up to 30 days, and a short-lived sign-in security cookie. Signing out invalidates the current study session. The kanji-help display preference is stored in your browser. The hosting platform and sign-in providers also operate their own authentication services.

Linked accounts

To use Google for an existing ChatGPT study profile, connect Google from that profile while signed in. Accounts are not automatically merged by matching email addresses.
